About

I am a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DISI) of the University of Bologna, supervised by Prof. Michele Colajanni. My research lies at the intersection of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence focusing on the integration of advanced Deep Learning techniques, with a specific emphasis on using Continual Learning approach to enhance the security of digital systems against a threat landscape that keeps growing in volume, speed, and sophistication. I work on anomaly and intrusion detection in IoT, alert management, and deception.

I hold a Bachelor's (L-31) and a Master's (LM-18) in Computer Science, I was a research fellow at the University of Bologna during 2024 and began my PhD in November 2024. I am also a research fellow at the Interdepartmental Centre for Industrial ICT Research.
